AIRO
AIRO (Italian Association of Radiotherapy and Clinical Oncology) is a non-profit association that aims to: Contribute to the progress and development of Radiotherapy and Italian Clinical Oncology and the relative clinical, biological, physical and IT bases; Promote and/or finance scientific research and teaching in the same disciplines; Favor the cultural and scientific updating of the Members; Develop guidelines, trials and scientific research also in collaboration with Regional Agencies, scientific Societies and other Bodies, Organisms or Institutions; Enhance the professionalism of the radiotherapist and favor the rational qualitative and quantitative increase of the centers of Oncological Radiotherapy; Promote cultural exchanges between radiotherapists and specialists from other disciplines, particularly national and foreign oncology; Promote full cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Regions, Healthcare Authorities and other public or private bodies, organizations or institutions for the purpose of better development of radiotherapy.
